The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is a federally-funded program designed to support students whose background includes migrant/seasonal agricultural work. The program provides financial and academic support to first-year students with the goal of preparing them for further success in college. CAMP works with faculty, student services and community-based agencies to improve educational opportunities.
TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) helps first-generation college students and other students who would benefit from additional support make the transition to college. TRiO-SSS offers academic guidance, professional development, peer mentorship, technology access, student success seminars and additional services. Located in West Hall, with a special wing in Sackett Hall, the Honors College community helps students succeed by providing collaborative workspaces, close proximity to Honors College offices, and a central campus living experience.
You won't have to look far for a study partner in this community, which offers in-hall tutoring for science and math courses, extra support from College of Engineering faculty, and comradery with other students also interested in engineering programs at OSU.
Students who live within the Business LLC — in Weatherford or Poling Halls — have access to College of Business resources and are immersed in an environment that promotes student success and collaboration.
The Writing Center offers four programs in support of Oregon State University student writing: The Undergrad Research & Writing Studio, The Graduate Writing Center, The Online Writing Suite and English Language Learning. Our peer writing tutors can help with all aspects of the writing process from brainstorming and organization to questions of grammar and usage.
University Exploratory Studies Program (UESP) is the academic home for students who are exploring their options before deciding on a major. UESP offers a comprehensive range of services to help students make informed decisions about their academic coursework and potential majors. UESP also serves Ecampus students.
