The Graduate Student Commons, or Grad Commons, is a place for graduate students on the sixth floor of the Valley Library. It supports student success by providing independent, collaborative and facilitated learning experiences.

Stop by during drop-in hours for writing help, statistics counseling or for IRB resources. In addition to academic support, the Grad Commons offers space to study and relax, reservations for small group study and research, reservations for a technology-enhanced classroom for teaching practice, computer workstations, laptop checkouts and more. Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP)

The LSAMP program at Oregon State University, funded by the National Science Foundation, is dedicated to increasing the number of traditionally underrepresented students successfully completing science, technology, engineering and mathematics baccalaureate degree programs. LSAMP also works to increase the number of students interested in and qualified for undergraduate research in graduate level studies.
