Part of the Academic Success Center, the Learning Corner's Strategy Quiz is an quick and easy online resource to help students refine their needs and gain access to resources for academic and personal success.

The Graduate Student Commons, or Grad Commons, is a place for graduate students on the sixth floor of the Valley Library. It supports student success by providing independent, collaborative and facilitated learning experiences.

Stop by during drop-in hours for writing help, statistics counseling or for IRB resources. In addition to academic support, the Grad Commons offers space to study and relax, reservations for small group study and research, reservations for a technology-enhanced classroom for teaching practice, computer workstations, laptop checkouts and more. You can connect to live tutors from any computer that has internet. Access a virtual whiteboard that allows tutors and students to work on problems in a real time environment. You can also visit an online writing lab where tutors critique and return essays within 48 hours.

The OSU Libraries offer valuable research materials and services for students who take Ecampus courses online.

The LSAMP program at Oregon State University, funded by the National Science Foundation, is dedicated to increasing the number of traditionally underrepresented students successfully completing science, technology, engineering and mathematics baccalaureate degree programs. LSAMP also works to increase the number of students interested in and qualified for undergraduate research in graduate level studies. 

Oregon State University Summer Session supports current, prospective and visiting students taking classes during the summer. Not only does Summer Session deliver more than 1,300 undergraduate and graduate courses on campus, but it also offers six course sessions of various lengths and study abroad options. Taking summer courses at Oregon State can help you graduate early or on time, lighten your course load for the coming year and finish a year’s worth of courses — such as foreign language, biology and chemistry — in just one summer.

The OSU advisor for National and Global Scholarships Advising works with students to compete for national and international scholarships including Fulbright, Gilman and Rhodes. These awards are based on academic qualification, research, leadership, service and personal characteristics; they are available for undergraduate and postgraduate study and research from a broad list of academic programs.
