Watch a Diversity & Cultural Engagement video series — like the Still We Persist webcast — view a photo essay of different communities at OSU or listen to a podcast. DCE has a broad range of multimedia content that showcases the student experience at Oregon State.
We know this isn’t easy. Some of you might be away from your family when you need them most. Maybe you are taking classes online for the first time. Or you might be struggling financially. When times get tough, Beavers unite. OSU alumni are here to support you as you navigate, adjust and cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Oregon State University will be offering events remotely throughout the term, so visit often to see what else is coming up. Looking for other ways to connect? Visit the Student Experiences & Engagement virtual welcome desk. And don't forget that Recreational Sports has a number of engagement opportunities, from group fitness classes to personal training to Adventure Leadership Institute trainings.
Event Spotlight — DAM Good Creativity: Join the Craft Center and Counseling & Psychological Services on Zoom for a weekly, guided craft session. Register now to get a kit with the materials needed for all four projects at beav.es/4nq. Kits are limited to the first 100 registered participants and can be picked up at the Memorial Union. Feel free to register and attend the Zoom sessions even if you can’t pick up a kit. Craft sessions take place every Friday in May at 4 p.m. Contact Tess Webster-Henry for information.
Keep up to date on the Oregon State University community. The Daily Barometer will continue to publish, and other Orange Media Network publications and platforms will be creating content in the spring term.
Want to share your story? Orange Media Network has launched the Share Your Stories campaign, where any student can submit stories and articles for potential publication.
