OSU Experience

If you are looking to anonymously connect with other community members who are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings, Togetherall is available 24/7. This online community offers resources such as self-assessments, goal trackers, and online courses to help promote well-being. If you find yourself needing more support, Togetherall provides help from clinically trained professionals at any time.

OSU Information Services offers a virtual access computer lab. If you have internet access and a PC, Mac or Chromebook, you can access a large collection of software used in Oregon State classes. If you don't have reliable access to a computer, please contact the Service Desk to discuss options.

OSU-Cascades rewards those who commute to campus in a sustainable manner, such as by bus, bicycle, carpool/vanpool, skate or on foot. This program is designed to achieve the university's sustainability and health/wellness goals, in addition to reducing traffic congestion in Central Oregon.

The Service Desk is available to assist students, staff and faculty with general technology issues, such as password resets, device support and OSU online applications.

OSU-Cascades offers a unique Physical Activity Course (PAC) program that partners with our community to bring students the best PAC experience possible. Open to all majors, students can credit doing activities like yoga, lifting and CrossFit, Scuba or rock climbing.

Student Wellness is committed to connecting students with help and support on and off campus. Our hope is to raise awareness for initiatives that directly support and benefit our Bend Beavers. 

The fitness center offers a wide variety of workout equipment, along with attendants specializing in kinesiology who can assist with proper body mechanics and workout techniques. Additionally, group fitness classes are offered fall, winter and spring terms.

The Office of Student Life enhances the mission of OSU-Cascades by providing services, resources, activities and involvement opportunities to support the co-curricular experience of our students. We strive to connect students to the campus community, create opportunities to expand leadership skills and inspire students to be life-long learners.

OSU-Cascades offers free tutoring to assist students in their OSU courses. All tutors are available by appointment, and all drop-in hours are held in our dedicated tutoring space in Tykeson Hall.

Each year, honors courses that serve a variety of students and interests will be offered at OSU-Cascades. Honors courses are designed to offer honors-appropriate elements of a course, adhering to the philosophy that honors means different work rather than more work. In addition to enriching academics, the Honors College offers a collaborative community experience with residence hall options, study space and experiences outside of the classroom including annual trips, events and activities.
