Advisors play an important role in your academic journey. They can help you make decisions that impact your educational path, find service learning and other experiential learning opportunities and ensure you are meeting program and university graduation requirements. As undergraduates, students are required to meet with their advisors at least once per term during their first year. Advising meetings for sophomores, juniors and seniors are determined by major. The frequency of advising sessions for graduate students may vary by advisor and academic program.
